Our Trip to the East Coast Part 2 - Morning Glory Farm and WCT (again)

We had a great night at the Nashua Inn in Oak Bluffs, where we stay every time on the Vineyard. Despite being in the room next to the bathroom (with an incredibly creaky door), Jack slept the entire night. Fully rested, we went over to Edgartown and spent the first part of the day at Morning Glory Farm. This is a very special place to us, where we love to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, baked goods and admire and taste all of the flowers, produce, honey and local folk. Jack had a blast playing with all of the pumpkins and gourds...

This poor worker had to follow Jack around and put all of the pumpkins back in place...

Jack paused, ever so briefly, to watch the big bus go by. Then it was full attention on his "little pumpkin".

With full bellies, we headed back up island to WCT. This time, Jack was a little more obsessed with getting wet. I had to keep grabbing him from the tidal pools (only 2 feet deep, but enough to get SOAKED). Jack wasn't too happy with being held from the water.

Finally, we gave in. We stripped him down to his shorts and let him go in the water for five minutes ONLY. It was freezing! He didn't seem to care.

Obviously very proud of himself, we let him enjoy a few moments before bundling back up.

It was a wonderful visit on the Vineyard, but it was time to get back to the mainland and see Mimi and Grampa G. WCT - we'll be back next year!
