Sam is 9 Months Old!

It's hard to believe another month has passed! Sam turned nine months yesterday, and since we had his well child visit this morning, we can fill you in on his vitals. He's weighing in just shy of 20 pounds and is almost 29 inches long! He's starting to trim down just a bit, and this is largely due to the fact that, yes, we have a crawler! Sam has been 'scooting' for about a month now - very quickly getting from point a to point b. However, the crawling motion suddenly 'clicked' and he took off. He's now able to scurry all over the house. Watch out! We have to keep a very sharp eye on him, because unlike Jack, Sam likes to put EVERYTHING in his mouth. He's a human vacuum cleaner.

Sam is still just as sweet as can be and he is definitely starting to take on his own little personality. When he gets frustrated, he grunts and growls. This is usually when he's board or hungry, so it's easy to tend to his needs. When he's happy, he's quick to giggle and coo. He's also a big flirt and his little smile melts my heart. Though we don't have a long list of vocabulary, he is definitely saying "Mama" now. Awwww!
