Two weekends ago, the backyard was finally finished when we had the irrigation system reconfigured and sod put down. We no longer have to look at the in-ground trampoline or the hole left behind when it was removed! Here are a few photos that I took tonight... above and below is where Jack swings while we're eating dinner outside. It's a nice spot in the afternoon with the sun hitting right over the trees. The hot tub is to the left, which is also a great way to spend the evening.
This is where the trampoline used to be. Pretty soon we'll have to put in a sandbox, swing set, ..... and, of course, Jack's pool that Mimi and Grampa G. gave him for his birthday! Oh, and we'll have to get a lawn mower. Hmmm.
My Mom was the ultimate putter-er when she was here. I'm hoping that some of her green thumb wore off on me. So far I've been able to maintain our little herb garden (we have some tomatoes, as well) and most of the flowers/shrubs we planted.
Even though the winter was LONG and very SNOWY, it will certainly help Colorado's dry summer weather - we needed that damp season to keep everything green and lush! Hopefully the drought won't be as bad this year as it has been in the past.
I'll soon take some photos of the inside of the house, now that it's completely painted. It's all coming along nicely!

Looks great! Nice and cozy...that deck with the hot tub is calling my name! Looks like something you'd see on HGTV!
It all looks so great, can't wait to see it again in person, keep that watering can and miracle grow going!!! Love, M
