I've been a bit delinquent on getting these photos up, but these were taken when Grampa G. came to visit us for a weekend a few weeks back. It was a nice break from the Texas heat, and the pool helped cool us all off. If Jack had his way, we would LIVE at the pool. He loves being there and we're thankful it's part of our neighborhood!

After being tossed around quite a few times, Jack was pretty amped up. Nothing like the touch of a pro, Grampa G., to calm him down. It was so sweet - they just wandered around the perimeter of the pool, checking out the rocks and the colors and chatting away.
We can't wait for another visit, though next time the pool will be closed for the season. Sniff. The final day is Labor Day and then the water will be drained. Jack will certainly be disappointed (and confused). The outdoor lap pool is open year round, however, so I suppose we could bounce around in there for a few more weeks. As long as there aren't any swimmers, I think we'll be okay...
