Cape Cod Part 1 - Grampa G's Boat

The boys and I touched down at Logan Airport on Tuesday night (and let me tell you - WHOA! Traveling alone with two little ones by yourself is TOUGH! Jack and Sam were wonderful, though, and made me proud). We checked the weather forecast that night and it said that Wednesday was going to be beautiful and the next 9 DAYS = RAIN... So, we got up early the next morning and headed over to the town of Dennis where Grampa G. has his boat, the Jus' Restin', docked...

Grampa G. guiding Jack to the Jus' Restin' ...

Sitting in the Captain's seat.

Matching hats.

Looking out over the calm waters. We all sang Bert and Ernie's "Here fishy fishy fishyyyyyyyyy" chant hoping for a bite.

Adjusting the reel.

Sam peacefully slept in the cuddy almost the entire ride.

Taking a quick beverage break.

Jack started to get a little too comfortable in the boat, so we ended up having to take the tail off of his monkey backpack and attaching it to his life jacket. You can never have too much control when it comes to Jack!

Heading back to the harbor. The best seat on the boat was on Mama's lap!
