Cape Cod Part 4 - The Children's Museum

On one of our many rainy days, we figured that if we were going to spend time inside, we might as well destroy a space other than Mimi and Grampa G.'s house. So, we trekked on over to the Cape Cod Children's Museum to romp around. I think that every kid on the Cape was there - we had to wait in line for people to exit because the museum was at maximum capacity. I guess every other parent had the same idea we did that day...

First stop: the cars and trucks station. Monkey in tow.

Next stop: the farm.

Hey, if you can't get to the real ocean because of the rain, just head to the Kids' Museum - they have plenty of ocean type items! Like mermaids! Or, in Jack's case, Manmaids.

And submarines!

Even Sam joined us in the submarine. Here we are looking at Mimi through the side window.

And out the front bubble window. I'm sure that there are technical terms for these windows...

Over to the safari.

This little science project was pretty rad - simple but neat. Air was forced through the cone which kept the golf size wiffle ball floating on its airstream. Jack was saying "cool!"

Final stop: the market. Time to load up on lots of snacks! Jack even tossed in the cash register.

Sam was wiped out just watching Jack run around!

It was a fun morning and definitely gave us something to do indoors.
