A Typical Night on Our Block

I love our little neighborhood! We're lucky enough to have the only cul-de-sac in our area of River Valley Ranch (called Old Town) and we're also lucky to have fabulous neighbors. These shots were taken last Sunday on a spontaneous cocktail gathering. However, in terms of the kids and bikes and overall mayhem, this is a typical evening!

Sam 'stuck' in his exersaucer. Actually, he loves sitting in it and being part of the action.

Handsome little Desmond.

Jack was psyched when he found this skateboard. He was actually able to stand on it without falling, but soon resorted to pushing it because he was bored just standing and not moving.

The kiddos ...

... and the adults ...

Cooper and Jack heading out for a quick wagon ride around the block.

Gerald bought Jack this guitar for 10 bucks at a garage sale. Jack LOVES it.

Time for some chow. Jack is the youngest by about a year (of the big kids -- Desi and Sam are the little ones) so he wasn't sure, yet, how to eat all of the burritos and corn on the cob. He stuffed his face with other goodies!

Cooper - "I wear my sunglasses at night!" (and my bike helmet while I eat, and my aviator jacket when it's 90 degrees outside)

These two are going to be TROUBLE in a few years!

"Can we do this next week, too?" You bet!

That's so great! It should be fun to watch them all grow up and go to school together!
