30 - the shortest year of my life by far! I had a wonderful birthday this past Sunday, which started by sleeping IN! Thank you, Gerald! I woke up to fresh coffee and a waffle breakfast with the boys. As a family, we went for a run and then lounged in the park. It was a a beautiful Indian summer day without a cloud in the sky. The boys then hit the sack for a nice long nap and I went for a swim and then to yoga. It was wonderful.

Gerald bought me a birthday pie - a yummy apple one. Gerald even taught Jack how to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. These pictures are too cute - I honestly think that we lit and relit the candle on the pie at least 20 times!

What a great birthday! Too bad they only come around once a year ...
