Gerald is Official!

It's official - Gerald is now a Citizen of the United States! After 3 1/2 years of interviews, attorney appointments and personal action forms, Gerald was sworn in as a Citizen on January 25th in the Grand Junction Court House. It was an emotional day, but the wait is over! Jack was so proud of his Daddy, shrieking in excitement the entire time. We're so excited and are relieved that the process is finally over... Here's to the U.S. of A.!

To catch you all up, the Holidays were just wonderful. Mimi, Grampa G. and Auntie Amy all made the journey to Colorado to celebrate Jack's first Christmas. As our little elf scurried around, we all drank coffee, opened presents, relaxed and enjoyed one another.

Oh, and let's not forget the BIG MOVE. We said good-bye to our cozy 2 bedroom home and welcomed the New Year in a 4 bedroom overlooking Mt. Sopris. We were very busy - Grampa G. was a rock star painting and fixing little pieces here and there, while Amy and Mimi made sure that Jack didn't get into all of the materials. We're still settling in, but for the most part, "It's home sweet home"!

Jack has just turned 9 months old - as he flies up the stairs, grins at us with 3 teeth and babbles endlessly, we find ourselves wondering where the time has gone. Enjoy the photos below - our good friend, Molly Peterson, took these shots and we want to share them with you all.

This last picture, of our little boy looking out the window, is a treasure ... he says "good-bye" to Mama everyday when I leave for work. * Sigh *
