We had a great time on Halloween this year - Jack went as a giraffe, which is appropriate since Gerald is in S. Africa! The Ranch House held its annual Halloween gathering, so we invited Marcella and Magnus, and Kirsten and Chase to join us. After getting a few photos there, we went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Jack was awesome - he sat patiently in his wagon between each house and then walked up the stairs on his own to get his candy and throw it in his bag. We made it to about 10 houses before all of the bigger kids started taking over. Impressive: Jack got about 20 pieces of candy! Not too bad for his first 'real' Halloween!
Almost dressed - Jack has this look like: "Really, Mom? Do I HAVE to?"

"Yes, dear. Yes, you do."

Ready to hit the road...

Awwww, there's a smile!

My little animal!

Marcella, Magnus, Me and Jack

Jack, as I've mentioned before, had endless energy. He was tough to catch in a photograph - as you can see!

It was a nice holiday, which Mimi and Grampa G. were able to share with us. We missed Gerald terribly, and we can't wait for him to get back home from S. Africa! Just over a week to go!
